The company

The company Barracuda Intertrade LTD was founded in 1992 and deals with a wide spectrum of commercial activities, with specialization in the collection, management and marketing of materials of recycling.

Since its foundation, the company continues investing in technological and qualitative upgrade, aiming at the expansion of its activities so much locally, as well as internationally.

Our fundamental objective is to meet our customer’s needs, providing the most suitable solutions for their operations.

Materials Recovery Facility

The MRF facility is situated in the vicinity of Limassol, covering an area of 16000 square meters. The installations include a sorting line for packaging waste materials, with ample spaces for stocking processed products.

Clientele

Barracuda Intertrade LTD has collaborated with success with Public and Semi-Governmental Organizations, the British Military Bases in Akrotiri Cape, the representation of United Nations, a vast number of private enterprises (including supermarket chains, printing-houses and other industrial firms).

In 1997 pioneered in initiating a pilot program of curbside collection, sponsored by the Rotary Club. The program covered the municipalities of Paphos, Mesa Yitonia, Germasoyia and Paralimni.

When Cyprus was preparing for the EU accession, our company participated in a LIFE financed, a public-private waste recycling scheme, which fed into the National Strategy planning.

Later on, the company participated also in an Urban Waste management MEDA programme, the principal financial instrument of the European Union for the implementation of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Germasoyia and Limassol municipalities.

ISO 9001 certification

The company applies since 2005, with the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system.

Commercial representative

Our company, acts as authorized dealers of HSM Pressen GmbH + Co. KG in industrial shredders and balers, thus giving us the advantage of providing our customers  with equipment ideally suited for their applications.
